In my head, I live many lives. Some days I'm a travel journalist chasing stories. Other days, I'm deep in research, other days I am even a food critic in Europe, eating and writing. My imagination tends to run ahead of me.

In reality, I live in Portland, Maine, where I bike, ski, surf, write, and adventure.

I've never been someone who likes to be just one thing. The worst advice I've ever received is, "You can have anything you want, but not everything you want." Why not?

What I know for certain is that when creativity and strategy collide, my mind begins to whirl and I see the world through a different light. Seeing possibilities, connecting ideas, and approaching challenges is where I do my best work.
